This morning !

For several days we had been hearing the characteristic toc toc toc of birds searching the trees for food!

This morning we were able to observe them! Two magnificent great spotted woodpeckers surely a couple came to feed on the sill of our window.

Gorgeous ! The campsite is a real refuge for our friends the birds, we can see there the ballets of blue or great tits, beautiful nuthatches or chaffinches,…

In the river, many ducks including a mandarin are present often accompanied by cormorants, a couple of herons and sometimes the presence of magnificent great egrets, called white herons!
